We have been using JC Landscaping for many years for our weekly lawn maintenance, and they are, without question, the best landscaping company we have ever hired. Our property has a very steep slope, which requires skill and attention to detail, and they consistently do an exceptional job. Our neighbours often comment on how beautiful and well-maintained our lawn looks.

More recently, we hired JC Landscaping for additional landscaping projects at our home. Dylan led the project with professionalism, excellent communication, and thoughtful suggestions. Owen listened thoughtfully and offered practical and effective solutions that helped formulate and solidify our vision. He suggested a partnership with the team of professionals at Jackson Pond to provide the pondless waterfall feature we so wanted. The teams assigned to our project worked seamlessly to provide and implement a design that was beyond what we even imagined! I searched around for a professional landscape company to service the Erin, Orangeville, Caledon area. I reached out several companies, several prominent names in the area never followed up. One prominent Orangeville showed up and estimated the work with very little to no explanation of their service, abilities and even the site walk was brief at best.
So I chanced it in Google. JC landscape. Good reviews so what the heck !!!
Ok this is where service was exceptional. Owen their team client experience lead, walked us through the whole company process. They are well run, highly professional system. I knew the owner has spent a lot of time on this to ensure the customer experience was positive. We had drawing done, reviewed options, present alternative options. Estimate the work, provide change of scope along the way. Any issues we’re dealt with professionally and the site crew foreman Brad was great. The workers were trained to be professional. This was a highly organized, professional operation that Justin the owner has built. Even personally going to the quarry to pick out these massive stones for the project. This was a complex, and delicate job with the location of the work.
Any hick ups get handled by Owen until the matter has been resolved. Any company can sell a job, I define a company by how well they take care of the customer after the job is done. Warranty, issues and follow up Quality control with the owners. Their invite to their office was an extra nice feature, as I wanted to see was their place neat and organized or was it a dump site and filthy. This tells me about who I’m dealing with.
They are not for people who want it “cheap” or fast. They are a company where you want value, service, and professionalism! For a Google search I would say based on the length of this review I was very happy with their work. They will be our go to company in the future and always first recommendation if anyone asks. Excellent design experience and quality workmanship. Our beautiful pool reno was completed on budget and in a timely manner (despite COVID related material supply disruptions).

We have used JC Landscaping for our lawn cutting for the past several years and they do a consistent excellent job. We recently hired Justin and his team to renovate our pool patio area and gardens. They did an exceptional job, taking care to respect the surrounding areas and our neighbour's property during the excavation work. Justin was attentive and listened to our preferences. Nestor, the crew leader, was so kind and considerate. The new patio area is pristine, with lovely outdoor lighting. When the crew finished up, you would never know anyone had been there. We hired JC Landscaping for two projects. One was transforming our unsightly and outdated front yard. The other was building a brand new deck in the back yard. This involved getting rid of our old rotting deck.

For both projects we were provided with a detailed concept design plan and a 3D design for the deck. This helped us get a great visual of what they would look like afterwards. I appreciated the visual because it gave me a great idea of what the front yard and new deck would look like.

JC Landscaping exceeded our expectations with their entire process including regular check ins by the owner to ensure things were going well.

The team who worked on the front yard and back deck were professional and obviously knew what they were doing. Both projects were done in the agreed timeline, in fact most of the deck work in the back was done while we were away on vacation.

We spend so much time outside in the summer and having a new expanded beautiful deck adds to our enjoyment. The recommendations for the deck, including expansion, was perfect.

Our family underwent, what was for our family, a fairly substantial landscape project involving our new home. As such, we met with many landscape designers and contractors but in the end we felt most comfortable and confident in choosing JC Landscaping. Justin and his staff provided a wonderful, friendly and professional experience from the start by meeting with us several times and answering all of our questions and concerns. We used his services to create a multi phase project with the help of a 3D rendering to help us visualize the final state. The first phase completed was the front of our house with new stairs, railings, lighting, garden beds, trees, irrigation and driveway. We couldn’t be more pleased after engaging with his dedicated, professional and polite staff and contractors, and seeing the final result, we were exceptionally happy. They treated our home and neighbours with the upmost respect and professionalism. It was just such a pleasant, easy and rewarding experience working with the onsite and office teams. We’ve loved their services so much, we have had no hesitation recommending them to others based on our experience. We constantly get positive feedback from neighbours regarding the landscaping and design work. We look forward to, once the time is right for us, to complete the remainder of our project with Justin and JC Landscaping.

As we reflect on the year behind us, and all that was bad about 2020, we are grateful to JC Landscaping for finishing our backyard oasis and we look forward to spring and summer 2021 and enjoying our “resort” with friends and family.
Our project with JC Landscaping started in September 2019 with us knowing that it would not be complete until the spring of 2020. The team worked diligently for as long as they could until Mother Nature shut them down in late November; the plan was to restart in spring of 2020 – well, we all know what happened…
The restart was delayed due to Covid, but Justin kept us informed weekly, updating us on the restrictions from the Ontario Government and Landscape Ontario Rules. Justin remained positive the entire time and we understood that keeping us and his employees safe was his number one priority.
Mid-May the crew was back on site and resumed the work, only to have us throw a new project into the scope! Why wait to complete the vision when the crew was already here right? So, we added on a lower fire pit area with a dry riverbed and a bridge, without missing a beat the team jumped right in and by June 15th the project was complete!
As the crew finished the last clean up and loaded the equipment on their trucks we changed into swimsuits and planned a night by the fire.
2020 was a challenging year for everyone, but JC Landscaping, Justin and his crew, made it much easier for this family, we were happy to stay at home in our beautifully finished backyard! We look forward to enjoying our backyard for many years to come.
The “Casey Resort” is always open to the crew from JC Landscaping, so long as Justin brings the food and drinks 😉, just kidding, any time guys!!
