Recently had new sod put in and with a lot of rain I needed to call in professionals for the first cut and ongoing maintenance.

Owen listened thoughtfully and offered practical and effective solutions that helped formulate and solidify our vision. He suggested a partnership with the team of professionals at Jackson Pond to provide the pondless waterfall feature we so wanted. The teams assigned to our project worked seamlessly to provide and implement a design that was beyond what we even imagined! The timing was exactly as promised and the quality of the work is undeniably impressive! In about 9 days we went from lawn to lawn-free! I searched around for a professional landscape company to service the Erin, Orangeville, Caledon area. I reached out several companies, several prominent names in the area never followed up. One prominent Orangeville showed up and estimated the work with very little to no explanation of their service, abilities and even the site walk was brief at best.
So I chanced it in Google. JC landscape. Good reviews so what the heck !!!
Ok this is where service was exceptional. Owen their team client experience lead, walked us through the whole company process. They are well run, highly professional system. I knew the owner has spent a lot of time on this to ensure the customer experience was positive. We had drawing done, reviewed options, present alternative options. Estimate the work, provide change of scope along the way. Any issues we’re dealt with professionally and the site crew foreman Brad was great. The workers were trained to be professional. This was a highly organized, professional operation that Justin the owner has built. Even personally going to the quarry to pick out these massive stones for the project. This was a complex, and delicate job with the location of the work.
Any hick ups get handled by Owen until the matter has been resolved. Any company can sell a job, I define a company by how well they take care of the customer after the job is done. Warranty, issues and follow up Quality control with the owners. Their invite to their office was an extra nice feature, as I wanted to see was their place neat and organized or was it a dump site and filthy. This tells me about who I’m dealing with.
They are not for people who want it “cheap” or fast. They are a company where you want value, service, and professionalism! For a Google search I would say based on the length of this review I was very happy with their work. They will be our go to company in the future and always first recommendation if anyone asks. The landscape design combined my rough vision with their knowledge and experience. Owen and the design team provided guidance and detailed suggestions, and proactively addressed issues like drainage.

The friendly JCL crews worked very hard and genuinely cared about the quality of the job. We had regular conversations to make small decisions and minor adjustments. While they were here with the skills and materials, they went above and beyond to address a few issues unrelated to the projects. JC Landscaping did all of our pool, patio, garden landscaping along with ensuring all of our drainage issues were properly dealt with. It has been more than 10 years since completion and my family has truly enjoyed the craftsmanship and care that was taken in completing our project. We have had the benefit of watching the garden mature and develop. It is our oasis that brings us relaxation and joy.
The team was always clear and thoughtful with our discussions during the build. Such large projects can cause anxiety amongst the homeowners but the team was able to clearly communicate the processes needed to complete the vision. They were tidy and considerate of our neighbours and our timeline.

We hired JC Landscaping for two projects. One was transforming our unsightly and outdated front yard. The other was building a brand new deck in the back yard. This involved getting rid of our old rotting deck.

For both projects we were provided with a detailed concept design plan and a 3D design for the deck. This helped us get a great visual of what they would look like afterwards. I appreciated the visual because it gave me a great idea of what the front yard and new deck would look like.

JC Landscaping exceeded our expectations with their entire process including regular check ins by the owner to ensure things were going well.

The team who worked on the front yard and back deck were professional and obviously knew what they were doing. Both projects were done in the agreed timeline, in fact most of the deck work in the back was done while we were away on vacation.

We spend so much time outside in the summer and having a new expanded beautiful deck adds to our enjoyment. The recommendations for the deck, including expansion, was perfect.

Our family underwent, what was for our family, a fairly substantial landscape project involving our new home. As such, we met with many landscape designers and contractors but in the end we felt most comfortable and confident in choosing JC Landscaping. Justin and his staff provided a wonderful, friendly and professional experience from the start by meeting with us several times and answering all of our questions and concerns. We used his services to create a multi phase project with the help of a 3D rendering to help us visualize the final state. The first phase completed was the front of our house with new stairs, railings, lighting, garden beds, trees, irrigation and driveway. We couldn’t be more pleased after engaging with his dedicated, professional and polite staff and contractors, and seeing the final result, we were exceptionally happy.
